UMADAOP of Cincinnati will join in with AAEW, Hamilton County Recovery Board, Talbert House, A-1 Stigma Coalition, and other Greater Cincinnati services to Celebrate National Recovery Month.

We will be kicking-off National Recovery Month on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. We encourage the community and its leaders to come together at the Purple People Bridge for a two-hour event – Walk the Road to Recovery: We Recover Together – to demonstrate support for those impacted by substance use disorders and to deliver a clear message that treatment works, and Recovery is possible.

The event will be open to the public and will offer helpful information about recovery, treatment services, as well as an opportunity to engage with public officials and inspirational cultural activities.  Our goal remains to reduce the stigma associated with substance use and mental health disorders.
